On March 4, 2021, CHMC signed the 220kV/250MVA autotransformer supply contract with Kyrgyzstan State Grid Corporation, and the equipment would be used in the major power supply substations in Capital Bishkek and the second largest city Osh.

The signature of the Contract laid a good foundation for CHMC to further develop the market in related fields of Kyrgyzstan.

Alaaqia Substation lies in Bishkek, and it is the step down substation of the No.2 Thermal Power Station, which is critical for power supply in Kyrgyzstan's Capital. Recent years, Alaaqia Substation faces a continuous increasing of power load. This time, the former low-capacity transformer was replaced to the 250MVA autotransformer, which was helpful to stabilize the local power supply, and would provide a good support for the later joint production and expansion of the No.2 Thermal Power Station.
