

Recently, the Joint Venture led by China National Heavy Machinery Corporation (CHMC) formally signed the contract for 100MW/200MWh Grid-Forming Battery Energy Storage Project with Electricite Du Cambodge (EDC). Dr. Praing Chulasa, President of EDC, Xiao Ping, Chairman and Managing Director of CHMC, Xu Jia, Deputy Managing Director of CHMC, as well as members of the Joint Venture, attended the signing ceremony.
As a compact yet high-value new energy project, the 100MW/200MWh Grid-Forming Battery Energy Storage Project is highly aligned with the company’s strategy for developing emerging industries, bearing profound significance for the company’s high-quality and sustainable development. Upon completion, the project will further enhance the stability of Cambodia’s regional power grid, safeguard the security of local power supply, and inject strong impetus into the country’s green energy transition.
