On November 17, 2025, CHMC signed a contract with the owner for the EPC project of a 500,000-ton-per-year steel complex in Cameroon. Deputy General Manager Xu Jia attended the signing ceremony.

The project will involve the construction of a blast furnace steelmaking plant in the South Region of Cameroon, with an annual production capacity of 500,000 tons, primarily focusing on rebar and wire rod products. This contract marks CHMC’s first project in the Cameroonian market. The successful signing not only represents a new breakthrough for the company in African country markets but also lays a solid foundation for ongoing development in the local metallurgy and mining sectors, expanding the scope of cooperation with clients.
