Recently, the Electric Power Enterprise Association of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia announced the results of the 2025 Conventional Hydroelectric Generating Units Benchmarking Competition. Cambodian Tatay Hydropower Station, which is invested in, constructed, and operated by CHMC, garnered multiple prestigious awards for its lean management and robust technical excellence.

Unit No.3 of Tatay Hydropower Station stood out among numerous competitors, earning the highest honor as a “Level AAAAA (Benchmark) Unit” due to its stable operational status, industry-leading power generation efficiency, and exceptional reliability indicators. Additionally, Unit No.1 and No.2 were both certified as “Level AAAA (Advanced) Unit” for their outstanding performances. This achievement makes Tatay Hydropower Station one of the few projects in this competition to receive high-level certifications across multiple units.
