Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Inspects Ak-Terek Tunnel Project

On March 20, Almaz Zhenaliev, Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, led a delegation to conduct on-site inspection and guidance at the Ak-Terek Tunnel Project constructed by CHMC.

The delegation went deep into the tunnel construction site to learn in detail about the project progress, construction techniques, as well as safety and quality management. He fully affirmed the achievements made in project construction and praised the Chinese team for overcoming difficulties such as complex geological conditions, showcasing their professional competence and dedication.

He stated that the Ak-Terek Tunnel Project is of great significance for improving regional agricultural irrigation and ensuring residents’ safe water supply. He hoped all parties involved continue close cooperation and complete the subsequent construction tasks with high standards.

Currently, all key milestones of the main tunnel works of the project are progressing as scheduled, and the remaining works are being pushed forward at full pace.
