The transportation industry has always played an important role in economic and social development. CHMC has engaged in transportation infrastructure construction by contracting projects both within China and abroad, including large port terminals for coal, ore, grain, fertilizer, cassava and containers. As part of these projects, CHMC provides turn-key services in terms of design, geological surveys, civil construction, equipment design and manufacturing, construction and commission, pilot operation and the construction of private raw material wharfs for steel plants, cement plants, power stations, roads, railways and airports.
CHMC has taken on the design, manufacturing, transportation, installation, commissioning, technical guidance and operational training services of 150 tons of portal cranes exported to the Vietnam Trieu Shipyard. It also provides portal cranes of various specifications for the Vietnam Saigon Shipyard, Vietnam’s Haiphong Port, the Vietnam Fazeng Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd., the Vietnam Jiantanteng Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and Vietnam Baiteng Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
Fangcheng Port in Guangxi is the leading port of the large sea passage in Southwest China, which is critical to the economic development of the region. CHMC has provided dozens of 25T-33M and 25T-35M portal cranes for the construction of the Phase II container terminal of Fangcheng Port in Guangxi. It has also provided a complete set of equipment for the terminal conveying system of the 200,000 tons Ore Wharf of Guangxi Fangcheng Port Group Corporation.
The Rizhao Port Iron Ore Terminal is located in Rizhao City, Shandong Province, and is owned by Rizhao Yuqiao Iron Ore Handling Co., Ltd. The throughput capacities of the Phase I and Phase II projects are 16 million tons and 19 million tons, respectively. CHMC takes on the technical services and project management of the ore terminal process system.
The Bulk Grain Terminal project is located in Rizhao City, Shandong Province, and is owned by Shandong Harbour Construction Co., Ltd. It is a bulk grain wharf with an annual throughput of 5 million tons. CHMC has contracted a complete set of processing equipment and technical services for the grain terminal.
The Shandong Shijiusuo Coal Terminal is located in Rizhao City, Shandong Province, featuring an annual throughput of 15 million tons. CHMC has contracted domestic manufacturing equipment, including a 3,000-3,600 tons/hour bucket wheel stacker and reclaimer, a 6,000 tons/hour ship loader, a dumper, a large conveyor belt and complete sets of other equipment.
