On March 30, 2020, CHMC again donated epidemic prevention materials to Electricité du Cambodge (EDC). It was the second batch of epidemic prevention materials donated by CHMC to EDC, after the first batch of the 50,000-piece disposable medical masks donated on March 23, 2020. CHMC coordinated with related resources, completed the source contact, procurement, transportation, reception and other related work within one week.

 

Commissioned by Mr. Keo Rottanak, Managing Director of EDC, Dr. Praing Chulasa, Deputy Managing Director of EDC, presided over the donation ceremony, and he showed sincere thanks to CHMC for the kind donation. Dr. Praing Chulasa fully affirmed the effective measures taken by the Chinese Government to prevent the spread of the epidemic, said high praise of the pragmatic, responsible corporate image of CHMC. He stated that while continuing to do a good job in the prevention and control of the epidemic situation on the site of each Project, CHMC steadily propelled the Project constructions orderly as planned.

 

Mr. Chhim Man, Director of Planning Department of EDC, and related staffs of CHMC Project Department in Cambodia, attended the donation ceremony.

 

Recently the outbreak of new coronary pneumonia occurred in many parts of Cambodia, and the local epidemic prevention materials were in short supply.
