On May 6, 2020, the maintenance of the No. 3 Generation Unit in Tatay Hydropower Station (invested and operated by CHMC), was finished. On this occasion when all generation units in Tatay Hydropower Station recovered the state of standby, Director of Power Transmission Department of EDC (Electricité du Cambodge), Mr. Kong Puthy, and Director of NCC, arrived in Tatay Hydropower Station to inspect the epidemic prevention and control, as well as the unit maintenance work. Mr. Zhao Wensheng, Deputy General Manager of Cambodian Tatay Hydropower Limited (subordinate to CHMC), accompanied the inspection.  

Mr. Kong Puthy was informed in detail about the prevention and control of the new coronary pneumonia in Tatay Hydropower Station, and he showed his affirmation to the epidemic prevention and control work in Tatay Hydropower Station.

Mr. Kong Puthy also enquired about the unit maintenance work in Tatay Hydropower Station. He said, the completion of the No. 3 Generation Unit in Tatay Hydropower Station marked that the C Grade Maintenance in the dry season of Year 2020, was accomplished; as the rainy season was approaching, Tatay Hydropower Station should make good preparations for large power generation, continue to provide a stable and clean electricity to the State Grid of Cambodia.

Subsequently, Mr. Zhao Wensheng and Mr. Kong Puthy together visited the reservoir area in the rain.
