Recently, the 230kV power transmission line of Cambodia East Loop Net(Phase Ⅱ) which was generally contracted by CHMC in EPC mode, from Tatay Substation to the No.2 Bridge in Koh Kong province, with a total length of 62km, completed the Acceptance successfully.

Most of the area through which the transmission line passes is in forest-covered mountainous areas. In order to protect the forest ecology and original environment to the maximum extent, the whole line is constructed by manual digging pile foundation. This method covers less area, causes less damage to environment and saves project cost, but it is difficult to construct and requires a high safety management. Under the joint efforts of all Parties, all staff of CHMC Project Department overcame the epidemic situation and the construction difficulties in the rainy season, adhered to high standards, strict requirements, and fully controlled the safety, quality and progress of the Project, and finally successfully completed the Acceptance one-time. The construction quality was confirmed by the owner. It is also the first transmission line constructed in the form of manual digging pile foundation in Cambodia.

The transmission line is an important link between Tatay Hydropower Station and Sihanouk Port, which will greatly improve the shortage of electricity for residents along the way.
