In the early morning of November 1st, 2002, the billet withdrawal of 500,000 ton 4 strand continuous caster integrating steelmaking, refining, continuous casting, tandem rolling was finished in one trial, indicating this project was successful in hot load trial run completely. Mr. Zhang Chengyi, Executive Vice Governor of Helongjiang province was present at site, expressed high appreciation to this project, and praised the constructor and supervisor of this project creating many achievements for China.

Integrated project of steel making, refining, continuous casting, tandem rolling  of  Beixing Special Steel is a big project undertaken by CHMC to provide project management and tendering service. In early 2001, new management of CHMC thought highly of this project, and it is executed by Heavy Machinery Department. In two years, they overcome various difficulties. Under the united leadership of CHMC, they organize earnestly, work actively and ensure the project executed smoothly. Their job was entrusted and appreciated by the user.

During the two years, engineers of Heavy Machinery Department withstood the difficulties, built up ability and  level of professional skill, the management was remarkably improved, accumulated valuable management experience of big project and related technical information.
