On September 15, 2004, with Beijing Iron Steel Design Institute of China Metallurgy Group, CHMC signed supply contract for baling machine and main drive LCI control system equipment for finishing mill line of the high speed wire rod rolling mill upgrading project of Beijing Iron & Steel (Group) Co. Ltd.

CHMC also signed import contracts of the above mentioned equipment with Sweden SEND BIRSTA, and SIEMENS, Germany respectively. These are another two supply contracts signed between CHMC and Beijing Iron & Steel Design Institute after the supply contract of the baling machine for rod rolling mill of Shangxi Haixin International Steel Co., Ltd. Beijing Iron & Steel Design Institute highly appreciated CHMC service to Haixin project, and has expressed interest to have further cooperation in future.
