International Market Development Department of CHMC participated in bidding 2 x 50 Ton Gantry Crane Project in Vietnam, and the owner announced on July 28, 2004 to award this project to CHMC.

Invested by NAM TRIEU Shipbuilding Corporation, VINASHIN is the owner of this project. CHMC participated in bidding of two tenders, 2 x 50 Ton and 2 x 150 Ton Gantry Cranes. Evaluation of bid of 2 x 150 Ton Gantry Cranes has been not completed yet.

Vietnam is a new market explored by International Market Development Department under the guidance of "Regional Rolling Development"  strategy and management of CHMC, as well as  supported by the other departments. It is a breakthrough by the way of  marketing diversification  of CHMC after the successful access to Myanmar market.
