On May 8, 2010, Phnom Penh held a gathering to celebrate the Red Cross Day and Red Crescent Day.
Prime Minister Hun Sen, Cambodian military-political officers, foreign envoys in Cambodia, international organization delegates in Cambodia, and people of all circles participated in the gathering.
On behalf of Cambodia Stung Tatay Hydroelectric Company and CHMC, President Lu Wenjun joined the gathering. He donated in the name of Stung Tatay Hydroelectric Company and CHMC to Cambodia Red Cross.
Prime Minister Hun Sen and Bun Ramy, Chairman of Cambodia Red Cross met President Lu Wenjun hospitably.
During the celebrating gathering, Cambodia Red Cross totally received 7.5 million U.S dollars donated by local companies, Chinese embassy in Cambodia, Chinese organizations in Cambodia, Chinese and the oversea Chinese.
