Since the launch of Phnom Penh loop line transmission system EPC Project (hereinafter abbreviated as Project) signed by CHMC and Cambodian National Electricity Company on 4th November, 2010, CHMC held rounds of domestic and foreign preliminary design review conference with an aim to actively promote the project. The project now is steadily implemented according to the plan and has achieved substantive progress.
Construction and installation work takes up most of the Project, and sub-contracts about these two parts were signed on 27th September, 2011. Mr. Xiao Ping, the vice president of the CHMC, Mr. Xu Yunpeng, the general manger of the Power Engineering Department & project manager, and the project staffs of relevant department attended the contract signing ceremony. The signing of construction and installation contract marked that the Project has entered into the specific implementation stage, which indicates another Project milestone. According to the project schedule, the site work will be officially commenced in October this year.
