President Lu Site Inspection to Phnom Penh Loop Line Transmission System Project in Cambodia

On 5th April, 2012, Mr. Lu Wenjun, President of CHMC, led an inspection delegation to the construction site of Phnom Penh Loop Line Transmission System EPC Project in Cambodia (hereinafter abbreviated as Project), visiting the Chinese worker of the construction group and CHMC project team, and debriefing on the Project status quo.

As reported, the Project has been moving well on the track: Firstly, the main control building of the SWS substation is undergoing its zero-mark ground concrete casting, expected completion by the end of April. Main transformers of substation are on the position, structure basic concrete cas ting has been done, primary equipment structure basic was constructing, about to enter the stage of the installation of the equipment; construction of the SPP substation and relative transmission line have been orderly organized in line with the contract. Secondly, site management system should be further improved, in terms of enhancing managerial expertise of the project team, tightening safety and environmental regulation, increasing labor, fund and material input to better civilization construction, and strengthening inspection and supervision on site. Thirdly, the next phase will focus on civil work and organization of equipment shipment, open box inventory at site and equipment installation.
To conclude, Mr. Lu Wenjun requested the site project team to give the priority to staff health and safety, reiterating safe production, scientific management and meticulous organization to overcome difficulties despite the hot weather, so as to well fulfill the contract and hand over a satisfactory project to the customer.
