Invited by Asian Youth Council and Cambodia Youth Union, Delegation of Chinese Youths sent by China Central Communist Youth League, altogether 6 persons in group, went to Cambodia and attended the Annual Meeting of Asian Youth Council & Asian Youth Forum, from May 29 to June 2. CHMC President, Mr. Lu Wenjun joined the group.
Based on the agenda, Delegation of Chinese Youths officially visited Mr. Pan Guangxue, China Ambassador in Cambodia, in Embassy of People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Cambodia, and had a friendly talk with His Excellency, Chey Chap, State Secretary of Cambodia Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, and His Excellency, Hun Many, Chairmen of Cambodia Youth Union in the visit, exchanging their viewpoints on how to better strengthen the communication and cooperation between Chinese youth and Cambodia Youth. Chairmen Hun Many showed his thanks to CHMC’s donation which was organized by All-China Youth Federation. He pointed out that it represented All-China Youth Federation’s warm friendship to Cambodia Youth Union and the good exchanging between the youths of the two countries. He wished: by the exchanging of the youths, the mutual-understanding and friendly cooperation between two countries would be enhanced and the traditional friendship and good cooperation between China and Cambodia would continue to be expanded.
During the meeting, Mr. Pan Guangxue, China Ambassador in Cambodia, introduced CHMC’s investment in Tatay Hydropower Station in Cambodia, to Chinese and Cambodian officials. He fully affirmed the smooth progress of the Project and its significance. After the meeting, witnessed by Mr. Pan Guangxue, a donation ceremony was held in which CHMC President, Mr. Lu Wenjun, and CHMC vice President, Mr. Zhu Xu, delivered CHMC’s donation of 100 sets tents to Cambodia Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport.
