On Oct. 17th, Mr. Li Ruogu, president of China EXIM Bank, accompanied by Mr. Lu Wenjun, president of CHMC, and Mr. Wang Weiguo, vice president of CHMC, took an inspection visit to the 230kV SPP Substation in the Phnom Penh Loop Line Transmission Project which was financed by Chinese government on preferential buyer’s credit.
During the inspection, Mr. Li took careful examination on the construction site of the 230kV SPP substation, listened to the introduction on how to utilize the buyer’s credit and the project construction schedule, fully affirmed project constructions which were funded by China EXIM Bank and implemented by CHMC. Mr. Li also expressed that China EXIM Bank would continue to energetically support CHMC’s power transmission project development and construction in Cambodian market.
Mr. Li also put forward his expectation on the project execution: one is to perfect the details and improve the product quality while ensuring the overall project schedule, and further to enhance the enterprise competitiveness in international market; second to give more opportunities to local people, hire them and train some good technicians, which on one hand can improve the life of local people, consolidate the friendship of the people between China and Cambodia, and on the other hand can create a favorable social environment for CHMC’s future market exploration and construction in Cambodian market, reserve human resource, and continuously honor and expand the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Mr. Lu extended his gratitude to the long-term support from China EXIM Bank, and promised the project team would reasonably utilize the credit as per instruction of the Bank management, committed to doing a better and better job, deliver another excellent project in Cambodia market, further reinforce the social influence and competitiveness of CHMC, and promote the market exploration in an all-round way.
