On Jan. 7th, China-ASEAN Business Council (CABC) held the‘2013 Award Ceremony of the Successful Chinese Enterprises and Entrepreneurs Entering into ASEAN. CHMC was awarded as ‘2013 Top Ten Successful Enterprises Entering into the ASEAN’, and Mr. Lu Wenjun, President of CHMC, awarded as ‘2013 Chinese Outstanding Entrepreneur Entering into ASEAN’.
This election activity was hosted by CABC and sponsored by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), China’s Ministry of Commerce, ASEAN Embassies in China, and etc. The judging committee, after several months and rounds of selection and recommendation, finally made 10 Chinese enterprises stand out.
Mr. Lu Wenjun, President of CHMC, attended the ceremony and received the trophy the medal from Mrs. Khek Sysoda, Cambodia's ambassador in China, and Mr. Yu Ping, Vice Director of CCPIT.
The award words to CHMC as: China National Heavy Machinery Corporation (CHMC) is a comprehensive service-oriented enterprise specialized in engineering project contracting. And ASEAN has become one key target market of CHMC along with the growing China-ASEAN business tie. The successful practice of CHMC starting from Myanmar enables him start to stretch out and sweep into other ASEAN nations like Vietnam, Cambodia, etc. and enlarges its business scope in a radiative manner. Up to 2013, CHMC’s total value of engineering contracts and investments in ASEAN countries has reached around USD 2.3 billions.
