His Excellency Keat Chhon, vice Prime Minister of Cambodia, led a delegation to the Tatay Hydropower plant on May 2nd, 2014.

Mr. Zhu Xu, vice president of CHMC, introduced progress of the project in details, and answered the questions from his Excellency. Mr. Keat Chhon expressed his satisfaction on the project progress and results-to-be achieved under the cooperation of China and Cambodia. He said that the achievements of Tatay Hydropower Project are unprecedented by reviewing the Chinese investment in Cambodia, and he expected CHMC would strive for more success and glories in Cambodia.

After CHMC’s report, his Excellency honored the project with his manuscript, and then visited the site, conveyed his condolences to all staffs involved.

Mr. Sok Chenda, the vice minister of Cambodia Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and Secretary-General of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, Mr. Soung Mengkea, Deputy Secretary of State, and chief principals from MEF and Koh Kong and other competent departments accompanied the inspection visit.
