On April 26, 2016, accompanied by CHMC Board Chairman and President, Mr. Lu Wenjun, the general manager of Concessional Loan Department, the Export-Import Bank of China, Mr. Jiang Juhua, and other officials, inspected Cambodia Rural Grid Extension Project, PhaseⅠand Phase Ⅱ site.
Starting from the real effect of the loan utilization, the Inspection Group of the Concessional Loan Department, the Export-Import Bank of China, emphatically focused the inspection on the construction quality and equipment operation situation in the Kampong Speu 115kV Substation Extension Project, and the 22kV Medium Voltage Transmission Line along. After witnessing that the extension equipment in the Substation were still the clean and net, after knowing that the Substation and the Transmission Line had been operated for two years in good condition, without any operation pause caused by the equipment quality or construction quality, Mr. Jiang Juhua highly affirmed the quality of the Rural Grid Extension Project, and he also encouraged CHMC to maintain its high standard in the project construction.
CHMC Board Chairman and President, Mr. Lu Wenjun, stated that CHMC would build the Cambodia Rural Grid Extension Project to be one excellent project which possessed a demonstration effect in the “One Belt One Road”, and CHMC would strive for the spearhead to implement the concessional buyer's credit projects funded by Chinese government.
Since signing the Contract of Cambodia Rural Grid Extension Project PhaseⅠon February 21, 2012, CHMC had signed the Contracts of the same Project for the PhaseⅡ, PhaseⅢ, PhaseⅣ, PhaseⅤ and PhaseⅥ, which includes a 6000 kilometers medium voltage transmission line in the rural grid, covering 18 provinces and cities, and benefitting 1.3 million people. Currently, the 2500 kilometers medium voltage transmission line in the PhaseⅠand PhaseⅡhad been completed head of schedule, and the PhaseⅢ, PhaseⅣ had started construction at the beginning of year 2016.
