On September 28, 2016, CHMC Vice President Mr. Wu Yong, and Mr. Zhu Canghai , Deputy Manager of CHMC Transport Department，and others, went to ChaoYang Port, Beijing Customs，attending “Beijing Customs Certificate Awarding and Policy Propagandizing Meeting”. In the meeting, Vice President Mr. Wu, on behalf of CHMC, received the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) Senior Certificate for the certified corporations, awarded by Mr. Hu Jingsheng, Deputy Inspection Director of Beijing Customs. 

The examination and approval process of the AEO authentication was rather rigorous. So CHMC Transport Department actively communicated, and modestly consulted with the Corporation Administration Bureau of Beijing Customs, on this issue. At the same time, CHMC Transport Department carefully studied each item in the authentication requirements, and modified the application documents accordingly. In its daily work, CHMC Transport Department strictly supervised each goods importation and exportation, as well as the related Customs declaration documents, followed closely to the Customs’ rules and  regulations, which forged a good corporation image of CHMC.    

AEO（Authorized Economic Operator）is a system established by the World Customs Organization（WCO）to build a partnership between the Customs and the business circles, achieve a safe and convenient trade. In the AEO system, the Customs would certify and accept those corporations which possessed a higher standard or level in law-abiding, credit, and safety, then the Customs would provide these corporations related convenience and favorable measurements in their business accordingly. In October 2014, Chinese Customs Head Office issued“ Corporation Credit Temporary Administration Regulation of People’s Republic of China”, and planed to formally implement the Regulation from December 1st 2014, to classify the corporation credit and to accord with the international AEO certification system. Currently, over 170 countries in the world complied with regulations of World Customs Organization and implemented the AEO certification system. China, Singapore, Korea, and Hong Kong signed mutually-recognized arrangement for the AEO certification system. Besides, China initially communicated with Russia, India, South Africa, Brazil, Australia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Israel, Argentina, Mexico, Switzerland and other economic entities, on the AEO mutual-reorganization. Invited by Beijing Customs, CHMC will attend the European Union and America AEO Mutual-reorganization Illustration Conference to be held in the middle of October 2106. After becoming one of the AEO certified corporations, CHMC would enjoy much convenience in its foreign trade with the countries and economic entities mentioned above.
