During July 8 to 16, 2017, CHMC Chairman, Mr. Lu Wenjun, accompanied the delegation from Bank of China Group Investment Limited, inspecting CHMC oversea projects, and investigating the oversea markets in Philippines, Cambodia, and Laos. Meantime, Mr. Lu Wenjun visited the project sites, checked and directed related work, propelling the projects progress.
In Manila, Capital of Philippines, Mr. Lu Wenjun visited China Ambassador in Philippines, Mr. Zhao Jianhua, and China Economic and Commercial Counselor in Philippines, Mr. Jin Yuan. Mr. Lu Wenjun reported to Mr. Zhao Jianhua CHMC’s business progress in Philippines, and Mr. Zhao Jianhua offered guiding advice and suggestions on Philippines state characteristics, economical and trade cooperation between China and Philippines, Chinese enterprises’ business in Philippines, and situations in many other aspects. Mr. Zhao Jianhua hoped that Chinese enterprises could perform well in the Philippines, promote the economical and trade cooperation, and contribute to the friendship between China and Philippines.

Mr. Lu Wenjun met President of Metrobank in the bank headquarter, and both parties agreed to cooperate in international project financing, Philippines project developing, project investment, and other fields.

In July 12, Mr. Lu Wenjun held a site meeting in Cambodia West-south Loop Line Project, acquiring the implementation situation of the Project and the Rural Grid Project (Phase Ⅲ, PhaseⅣ), the preparation situation of the East Loop Line. Mr. Lu Wenjun said in the meeting that CHMC’s projects in Cambodia generally proceeded well, and some problems encountered in the project implementation and management could be solved in time and efficiently; in recent years, by its brand advantages in Cambodia, CHMC kept the “Area Rolling” Strategy, further developed Cambodia electrical power market, planned overall and carried out these power projects stage by stage; during implementing current projects, CHMC developed new projects, and kept the “Area Rolling” Strategy in Cambodia, which founded CHMC a mature and energetic oversea market. Mr. Lu Wenjun required each project department should forge a good team, and encourage young staff to cherish the good opportunity and get fully practiced in the project, well perform their own work and contribute more to the continuous and steady development of CHMC.
During his visit with the delegation in Laos, Mr. Lu Wenjun met Minister of Lao Energy and Mines Ministry, Mr. Khammany,and reported to him CHMC’s project implementation in Laos, and the developing process of the Mining-power Generating Project. Mr. Khammany said high praise of the Laos 230kV Hinheup- Nam Ngum 1-Nabong Power Transmission and Transformation Project which CHMC was trying to accomplish two years ahead of the schedule. Mr. Khammany hoped CHMC would speed the development of the Mining-power Generating Project. Then Mr. Lu Wenjun visited China Embassy in Laos, and met with China Economic and Commercial Counselor, Mr. Wang Qihui.

In July 14,Mr. Lu Wenjun visited Laos 230kV Hinheup- Nam Ngum 1-Nabong Power Transmission and Transformation Project site, acquiring the implementation situation. Then he went deeply to the construction site, inspecting and enquiring the staff organization, equipment arrival, staff living, etc. Mr. Lu Wenjun also visited the staff canteen, acquiring food situation, and told the Project Department to make a good logistics.
Currently the Project generally ran steady. The substation was constructed from November 2016, and hopefully to be charged end of this year; the line construction which was underwritten at initial stage, was hopefully to be finished end of this year.
Mr. Lu Wenjun was satisfied that the construction continued during the raining season, and he praised and confirmed the Project management work. Meanwhile Mr. Lu Wenjun required to further elaborately organize, positively coordinate the Project, and manage it well on the basis of the fixed target, in the premise that the safety and quality were guaranteed. The Project Department expressed that they would not be unworthy of the top management’s expectation, and would make this Project a good EPC model in the power transmission and transformation industry in Laos, establishing a brand and wining a credit for CHMC, honoring our motherland.
