On December 17, 2017, CHMC officially signed the Contract of Nepal Langtang Khola 201MW Hydropower Station Project, with the user-Yeti Langtang Hydro Power Pvt. Ltd., in the capital of Nepal Katmandu. CHMC President, Mr. Xiao Ping, CHMC vice President, Mr. Wang Weiguo, and others related, were present at the Contract signing ceremony.

Mr. Xiao Ping and the Chairman of Yeti Langtang Hydro Power Pvt. Ltd., signed the Contract on behalf of each Party; Mr. Wang Weiguo and the General Manger of Yeti Langtang Hydro Power Pvt. Ltd., singed on the Contract for witness.
This Project lies in the Langtang area, northern part of Nepal, close to the Chinese border. It possesses an excellent natural condition and a good technical quality. After completion, it will become the highest water head hydropower station in Asia. Currently, the user had finished the environment assessment, and got the work-starting permit for the Project. On July 15, 2017, CHMC and Yeti Langtang Hydro Power Pvt. Ltd., signed the Project MOU, defining that CHMC exclusively fabricated the Project technical scheme, and this EPC Project was to be constructed by financing from Chinese financial organizations (EPC+F). After that, CHMC carefully arranged to push it ahead, communicating the technical scheme for several times with the user, organizing Chinese technical experts for the Project site survey, drawing up the related technical schemes, which were accepted by the user.
In the signature ceremony, both Parties would like to continue to cooperate closely, propel ahead the Contract financing and the Project implementation work related.
