On September 27, 2018, Georgian former premier Mr. Irakli Garibashvili, leading the High-grade Business Delegation of Georgia, consisting of 13 members, visited CHMC. CHMC Deputy President Mr. Zheng Hansong, and CHMC Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Zheng Tian, held a meeting to welcome the guests.

During the meeting, CHMC first made a brief introduction of SINOMACH Heavy Equipment Group Co., Ltd and CHMC, and the main businesses, outstanding achievements in electrical power and transpiration fields. Mr. Zheng Hansong illustrated the development and operation of Cambodia Tatay Hydropower Station in which the guests were interested. Mr. Irakli Garibashvili introduced the basic overview of Georgia, and he stated that as a key country in the Belt and Road construction, Georgian government welcomed Chinese enterprises to join in the infrastructure construction and invest in Georgia. The Business Delegation introduced and recommended hydropower stations, coal-fired power stations, ports and other project situations. The two parties also communicated the project operation, financing and other issues related in the meeting.
