On October 14, 2018, in Dushanbe, Capital of Tajikistan, Chinese Premier of the State Council Mr. Li Keqiang and his wife Mrs. Cheng Hong were present in the Seventeenth Meeting of the Council of Heads of Government (Prime Ministers) of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and paid an official visit to Tajikistan, in the meantime, met the work staff of Chinese Embassy in Tajikistan, and representatives of Chinese-funded Organizations in Tajikistan. CHMC Board Chairman and President Mr. Xiao Ping participated in the meet.

In the meet, Premier Li Keqiang made an important speech, comprehensively introducing the domestic and international economical situations, in which, the vivid and graphical explanation, detailed macro-data analysis, greatly enhanced our confidence in the situation of Chinese economy development. Premier Li Keqiang also fully affirmed the investment, project contracting, and project cooperation implemented by the Chinese-funded Organizations in Tajikistan. He encouraged the Chinese-funded Organizations to contribute more to the development of the economical and trade cooperation between China and Tajikistan.
