On September 2018, the First Training Class of CHMC Scholarship started. Ten senior professionals from Electricité Du Cambodge (EDC), attended the 20-days training class in State Grid of China Technology College.

The training course included not only the practical operations and theoretical knowledge, but also emergency rescue and aid, as well as some Chinese traditional culture, such as Taijiquan and Chinese painting & calligraphy, etc. Through the training, the trainees further understood Chinese technologies, standards, cultures, and CHMC. Through the training, the trainees’ professional knowledge were increased, their working ability and level were promoted. The training class also bridged the friendship between China CHMC and Cambodia EDC.

On January 19, 2017, as the founder of the Scholarship, CHMC signed the Memorandum 《Establishment of CHMC Scholarship》with EDC. The establishment of CHMC Scholarship aimed to train more professional talents in the power facility construction and operation, to promote the rapid and sound development of Cambodian power industry.
