During April 17 to 21, 2019, CHMC Board Chairman and President Mr. Xiao Ping arrived in Tajikistan, inspecting and directing work. He respectively visited China Embassy in Tajikistan, Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office, Tajikistan Aluminum Company (TALCO); Mr. Xiao Ping also inspected the Cryolite Plant which was contracted and constructed by CHMC for TALCO.

Mr. Xiao Ping reported to the new ambassador, Mr. Liu Bin，CHMC’s current business development situation and recent work scheme in Tajikistan. Mr. Liu Bin affirmed various work carried out by CHMC in Tajikistan in the past years. In the Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office, Counsellor Mr. Sun Yan expressed his support for CHMC project development plans, and hoped CHMC would further expand its business model.

Mr. Xiao Ping also met TALCO Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Khabilov. The two parties communicated on the operation and maintenance of the Cryolite Plant, and other work; the two parties reached an agreement to cooperate in follow-up projects, and to increase the project promotion.

Mr. Xiao Ping inspected the Cryolite Plant, and extended his regards to the Chinese operation and maintenance staffs. Mr. Xiao Ping stressed to strengthen the safety production management, put an end to the potential hazard for safety. Meanwhile he required that CHMC project staffs in Tajikistan should fulfill their duties and obligations to help Tajikistan party to do well in production managements.
