Picture 1. The Auditor and the Consultant Are Verifying Meter Reading in the Switch Station

During May 10 to 11, 2019,the auditor from the consultant company entrusted by the buyer of CDM(Clean Development Mechanism) Project, arrived at the CTHL (Cambodian Tatay Hydropower Limited , a subsidiary of CHMC)Phnom Penh office，carried out the CTHL phase Ⅲ carbon dioxide emission reduction check.

After reaching the project site, the auditor carefully reviewed the on-grid electricity metering, production management, CDM training, equipment operation management data and others related. In CTHL Phnom Penh office, the auditor certified the documents related.

After checking, the auditor thought that CTHL CDM project documents and records were all in readiness, and met the requirements of the review. The phase Ⅲcarbon dioxide emission reduction amount of CTHL CDM project got the preliminary confirmation.

CDM is one of the flexible performance mechanism introduced from Kyoto Protocol, in which the key point is to agree the set-off amount of the emission reduction could be transferred and acquired in the project level among developed countries and developing countries, and implement greenhouse gas emission reduction projects in developing countries.
