At 4:00pm, Cambodian local time, April 1, 2019, two 230kV transformers in the Mondulkiri Substation and the Ratanakiri Substation of Cambodia East Loop Line PhaseⅠProject which was contracted and constructed by CHMC, were positioned smoothly, which fulfilled the important milestone nodes of the Project ahead of schedule, and laid a foundation for the completion of the project as planned.

These two transformers, each 58 tons in weight, were difficult for transportation. CHMC several times investigated and studied the transportation route and finally selected the best scheme: from Shanghai to Ho Chi Minh City, then to Cambodia-Vietnam border, at last to Mondulkiri and Ratanakiri. This route had a good condition, no need to cross the river bridge, short and low number of re-transportation. CHMC careful planned, required an advance equipment design, an advance equipment procurement, sped the construction of the transformer foundation and the approach road to the site. Before the transformers were transported, all site preparations were completed and met the requirement to position the transformers. Meanwhile, CHMC repeatedly communicated and negotiated with the transport agency, made sure that the goods would be shipped to the port in time, with a good equipment condition, a shortest voyage of the double deck executive ship transportation, and achieved the first time ship-loading and ship-sailing after the transformer left the factory. Before the transformers arrived in Ho Chi Minh Port, CHMC had already arranged the transport vehicle fleet, waiting ahead of time on the shore. The two transformers were unloaded from the ship and re-transported at once after their arrival of the Port, and delivered to the Project site as soon as possible, on the premise of ensuring the safety of the equipment.
