CHMC Cambodian Rural Grid Extension Phase Ⅴ-Ⅵ Project Was Accomplished Ahead of Schedule

On August 30, 2019, CHMC received the Acceptance Certificate of the Cambodian Rural Grid Extension Phase Ⅴ-Ⅵ Project, signed and issued by Electricité du Cambodge (EDC), which marked that the Project was smoothly accomplished about 6 months ahead of the schedule. 

 The Cambodian Rural Grid Extension Phase Ⅴ-Ⅵ Project includes the construction of a 2525km medium-voltage transmission line, two 115kV substations, and the Sihanoukville Substation extension, as well as a 22 km-115kV high-voltage transmission line which connects the substations, spreading in 11 provinces in Cambodia.

The completion of the Rural Grid Extension Phase Ⅴ-Ⅵ Project, made contribution to the implementation of the Cambodian government “ Power to Each Village” Strategy, and forged a solid foundation to propel the construction of electric power infrastructure in Cambodia, promote the local economic and social development, and further improve the livelihood of the people.
