Recently CHMC signed the Gantry Crane Procurement Contract (Tender Segment I and II) of the Langen Working Area No. 1-2 and South No.1-3 Berth Project, Donggang District Terminal, Guangxi Tieshan Port, with Guangxi Tieshan East-coast Port Co.,Ltd. The Contract amount was over 100 million CNY, and all equipment was scheduled to be transported to Donggang District Terminal and be delivered in the early May 2020.    

Guangxi Yulin City carefully implemented the Strategic Decision Deployment of“Lay the Foundation in 3 Years，Make a Big Change in 5 Years”，and the“Relay on the East, Go to the South, Reach the Sea Through the River”. The Beihai Tieshan Port Donggang District Terminal Project was one of “Three Major Events” in the Deployment. Yulin City possessed a strong manufacture industry, and its trade, logistics were prosperous. The construction of the Project was to positively respond to the call of the 'Belt and Road Initiative', open up a fast and convenient access to the sea for Yulin City, integrate it into the Beibu Gulf Economic Circle, make a strong support for Yulin City to change its inland economy to the coastal economy.

The Phase I of the Beihai Tieshan Port Donggang District Terminal Project was scheduled to construct 7 berths, with a designed throughput capacity of 3 million tons per year.
