Picture 1.  Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, Mr. Wang Wentian, Made a Speech in the Ceremony

On October 14, 2019, the Completion Ceremony of the Repair <assisted by CTHL(Cambodian Tatay Hydropower Limit), a subsidiary of CHMC> of the flood- destroyed-road, 6.5 km in Pursat Province of Cambodia, was held in Site. Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, Mr. Wang Wentian, Minister of Cambodian Mines and Energy Ministry, Mr. Suy Sem, Managing Director of EDC （Electricité du Cambodge）, Mr. Keo Rottanak, CHMC Board Chairmen, the Secretary of the Party Committee, and CTHL General Manager, Mr. Zhu Xu, CMIC (China Machine-Building International Corporation) President, and CHMC Deputy President, Mr. Wang Weiguo, attended the Ceremony.

In the Ceremony, Mr. Wang Wentian stated that the flood- destroyed-road which had been repaired (assisted by CTHL), was only 6.5 km in length, but it solved the problem of travel difficulties for more than 5000 local residents; it was a small project, nevertheless, with a great significance.

Due to the flood soaking in the rainy seasons for many years, the road foundation was sunk, and the road surface was muddy, which caused great inconvenience for the local people in their daily life. In order to improve the travel conditions of the local people, make convenient for students to go to and back school, CTHL assisted the local people, repaired and re-constructed the road, which set up a good image of active integration into the local society, and the responsibility performance of the enterprise.

During the Completion Ceremony, Minister of Cambodian Mines and Energy Ministry, Mr. Suy Sem, awarded the Honorary Credential to Mr. Zhu Xu, praising the positive contribution which CTHL made in the repairing of the road.
