Recently, CHMC received the Notice of Adoption (the Recertification for the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) Advanced Certification Enterprises), issued by Zhongguancun Customs of China, which indicated that CHMC passed the recertification, thus CHMC conformed to the standard of Advanced Certification Enterprises, and could continue to enjoy the benefits endowed to the Advanced Certification Enterprises in the Customs Credit Management.

According to the Customs’ regulation, the certificate of Advanced Certification Enterprises would be re-certified every 3 years. It is the first time CHMC passed the recertification since September 22, 2016 when CHMC first got the certification of the AEO Advanced Certification Enterprises.

AEO Certification is a system: by building the cooperation-ship among enterprises and the Customs, World Customs Organization(WCO)provides the Customs clearance convenience (both from home country Customs and mutually-recognized country Customs), to the qualified enterprises, to ensure the security of the supply chain and trade facilitation.

Currently, there are 1.22 million import and export enterprises in China, and only 0.26% of the enterprises pass the AEO Advanced Certification. After becoming one of the AEO Advanced Certification Enterprises, CHMC was well-treated in the Customs clearance: the Customs Examination Rate was significant decreased, the clearance time was effectively shortened, the clearance cost was sharply declined, the international competitiveness was further strengthened, and meanwhile, CHMC could enjoy the Customs clearance convenience provided by AEO mutually-recognized country (Region) Customs. At present, the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China (GACC) was actively promoting the AEO mutually-recognized negotiation with the Customs of the counties along the Belt and Road, to create the convenience for Chinese enterprises to join in the Belt and Road construction.
