For several days, based on the arrangements from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, higher Party organizations, CHMC Party Committee, to prevent the new coronary pneumonia, Cambodian Tatay Hydropower Limited (subordinate to CHMC, abbreviated as CTHL hereinafter) actively took multiple initiatives, rapidly implemented, paid close attention to the relevant work, ensured the health and safety of staffs, meanwhile, guaranteed the operation and maintenance work of CTHL in order. At present, the general situation of epidemic prevention in CTHL was fine, and no suspected case and confirmed case was found in CTHL.

On February 5, 2020, CTHL Party Branch issued < A Letter to All Party Members>, required that all Party members focus on fighting the epidemic which was the first political mission at this stage. CTHL Party Branch required that all Party members conscientiously improve the political position, use the effect of the epidemic prevention and control to test the achievements of the thematic education “Never Forget the Original Ideals and Aspirations, Firmly Remember the Mission”, give full play to the political leadership of grass-roots Party organizations and the vanguard and exemplary role of Party members, build a strong line of defense against the epidemic.

CTHL provided respirators, thermometers, disinfectants and other epidemic prevention supplies to each Department and related companies. CTHL required that all staffs wear respirators, monitor the body temperature on time each day, conscientiously carry out the rule of “Investigate Every Day to Ensure no Case of Epidemic illness Happening”. Meanwhile, CTHL disseminated the knowledge on epidemic prevention through multiple channels, called on staffs to know about the domestic news, know about the significant efforts and achievements made by the Party Central Committee and the State Council, to combat the epidemic. CTHL Party Branch kept contact with the family member of each staff who was currently working in Tatay Hydropower Station, reported the epidemic prevention situations in Tatay Camp to the family member, got ready to solve problems for the family member, achieved“Let Staffs Feel at Ease in Tatay, Same Time Let Their Family Members Rest Assured at Home”.

While well implementing all epidemic prevention work, CTHL overcame related difficulties, actively kept contact with Cambodian Ministry of Mines and Energy, Electricite du Cambodge (EDC), further strengthened the inspection and maintenance of hydropower station buildings, as well as the mechanical and electrical equipment, ensured that the epidemic prevention and the operation-maintenance, power generation in CTHL could be implemented smoothly, accomplished the epidemic prevention work and the operation-production work at same time.
