On July 2, 2020, China International Contractors Association (abbreviated as CHINCA hereinafter) announced the name list of the “Year 2020 Grade A Enterprises in China International Contracting Industry”, and CHMC for the first time was appraised a Grade A Enterprise (top grade in the rating). A total of 77 enterprises were listed this time.

The rating result would be announced and recommended to relevant domestic government departments, economic counselor's office of China embassy in foreign countries, financial institutions, foreign embassies and consulates in China, project owners, international multilateral development financial institutions, etc. While coordinating related projects, recommending enterprises to participate in intergovernmental cooperation projects and projects utilizing Chinese funds, CHINCA would preferentially support the Grade A Enterprises, on the basis of compliance with its relevant coordination provisions.

The main conditions for the selected enterprises: in the recent 3 years, completion of a single contract amount of US $100 million or more and overseas general contracting not less than 5, or total turnover of overseas general contracting projects not less than US $1 billion; operation complying with laws and regulations, meeting requirements of the engineering quality, safety, environmental protection, etc., no bad credit record; credit rating 3A; the engineering construction enterprises with special/Grade 1 Qualification, or the design comprehensive Grade A Qualification, etc.

Besides, CHMC was the 89th in the Top 100 China International Contractors announced by CHINCA in year of 2019; CHMC in the electrical engineering industry, was the 26th in the Top 30 China International Contractors in year of 2019.

Over years, CHMC adhered to the 'Go Globally' development strategy, actively participated in the construction of Belt and Road, promoted the continuous development of overseas project contracting businesses, successively built a number of important projects to promote local economic and social development and benefit people's livelihood.
