On September 21, 2020, the first engine of Cambodia 200MW Heavy Oil/Natural Gas Dual Fuel Power Plant Project which was contracted and constructed by CHMC, was ignited and started up successfully at the first time.

Deputy President of SINOMACH-HE (SINOMACH Heavy Equipment Group Co., Ltd.), CHMC Board Chairman, Mr. Xiao Ping, and CHMC Deputy President, Mr. Wang Weiguo, arrived at the Project site and were briefed about the Project report. They confirmed the work of the Project Department, conveyed greetings to the staffs who stick to work in the Project site, and made request for the following-up work.

The construction of the Project began in September 2019. Year 2020, the Project Department did a good job of prevention and control of the epidemic, at the same time, adopted a flexible equipment delivery method, and overcame the difficulties of logistics transportation and personnel transfer during the epidemic, ensured the Project to move forward on schedule. The Project Department adhered to the objective management, strictly observed the quality and safe requirement in the construction, actively coordinated with all Parties to accelerate the progress of the Project, laid a solid foundation for the successful start-up of the first engine and the smooth progress of the follow-up work.
