On February 1, 2021, CHMC Dubai130TPH Vertical Cement Grinding Station Project carried on the trial production smoothly. The Project owner is Hong Kong Shuncheng Group; the Station lies in Dubai Southwest Industrial Park; the designed production output is slag powder 130 tons / hour, and OPC cement 150 tons / hour.

The civil engineering of the Project began in early 2019. After two years’ construction, civil works and the commissioning of mechanical and electrical equipment in all plants were completed in the end of 2020. At 2021 Spring Festival Eve, it began the trial production of cement and slag powder.

At the initial outbreak of new coronary pneumonia in 2020, CHMC Project Department staffs stick to their posts; in the Site they on one side did a good job of epidemic prevention and control, on the other side, they actively communicated with domestic manufacturers for equipment remote service guidance. In the second half of the year, with the accelerated resumption of production in many countries, CHMC Project Department coordinated the domestic manufacturers to work in Site, organized site units, and reasonably arranged the progress of the construction. On the premise of ensuring construction quality, CHMC Project Department improved work efficiency and ensured the smooth implementation of all work in Site. At present, the production, power consumption and heat consumption of slag powder and cement met the design requirements, and the system performance is stable.

Dubai130TPH Vertical Cement Grinding Station Project is CHMC’s first building materials project in the Middle East, the completion and commissioning of the Project will play a positive role for CHMC to further develop the market in the Middle East.
