On January 4, 2021, video-witnessed by Mr. Xiao Ping, Deputy President of SINOMACH-HE (SINOMACH Heavy Equipment Group Co., Ltd.), Party Secretary and Board Chairman of CHMC, Mr. Xu Jia, Deputy President of CHMC, and Mr. Li Xianglong, President of Cambodia-China Real Estate Co., LTD., signed the Project Contract of B500 Lake Development (Phase 1) of Techo Takhmau International Airport, Phnom Penh, Cambodia., achieved “a Very Good Start” in Year 2022.

This Project is the first non-electric power project signed by Branch of China National Heavy Machinery Corporation (abbreviated as CHMC Branch hereinafter) since it actively implemented the 'Regional Rolling' development strategy, by making the most of its regional advantages in the country market for many years, which provides a new idea for CHMC Cambodia Branch to explore 'Localized Operation'.

The B500 Lake Project of Techo Takhmau International Airport is a subsidiary Project of the Airport. It is planned to provide a strategic water storage area for Phnom Penh and its surrounding cities, as well as to provide the earth and lake sand for backfilling of Techo Takhmau International Airport. CHMC Branch carried out positive communications with the owner, won the fierce competition among many Chinese and foreign enterprises, and realized the successful signing of the Project Contract.
