At 00:00 on September 18, 2024, the cumulative sales of CHMC Cambodia Tatay Hydropower Station reached 10.03 billion KWH, a historic breakthrough of 10 billion KWH, and a steady stream of clean electricity provides a reliable energy guarantee for Cambodia's economic and social development.

Tatay Hydropower Station in Cambodia is invested and operated by CHMC in BOT mode. The project started construction in June 2010 and officially entered commercial operation in June 2015. The total installed capacity of the power station is 246 MW, and three 82 MW mixed-flow turbine generating units are installed, with an annual designed generating capacity of 858 million KWH. The construction and operation of Tatay Hydropower Station plays a pivotal role in easing the power shortage in Cambodia, promoting local social and economic development, promoting employment and improving people's well-being, and is an important support for the security and stability of Cambodia's electricity.

Since the completion of the project, Tatay Hydropower has always adhered to the business idea of "ensuring safety, generating more power and increasing economic benefit", worked hard and persevered, and achieved the goal of exceeding the design capacity for power generation for 9 consecutive years. It has not only become the backbone power source of Cambodia's power grid, but also continuously strengthened cultural exchanges and mutual learning with the Cambodian government and local people, and become a bridge and bond to further enhance people-to-people exchanges between China and Cambodia.
